Most magical thing you've done for someone at Disney

We had 4 fastpasses for rock n roller coaster but only 3 of us were gonna ride it and we noticed a woman was with her family then she walked away and got into the single rider line. So we gave her the fastpass and she rode with us. It turns out she was riding the ride to see how intense it was for her kids so they could ride it later that day, the wait was around 2 hours and they were already out of fastpasses for it(it was only like 10AM) so needless to say by the time she would have rode it then her family would have rode it the day would have already been over with. We felt good about being able to let her and her family have more time for magic that day.

Once, sitting in the lobby of the Polynesian waiting for DW and DS I looked in the planter and saw a Matchbox car. It was either lost or fogotten so I picked it up and was going to turn it in when a family with a little boy about 4 years sat down next to me. I said to the little boy "I just found this and I think it needs a good home do you want it?" The boy's eyes got big as saucers and he said "yes please." The next day I saw the family again in the lobby and the mother said "He's held onto that little thing all day yesterday and slept with it as well. He'plays with it in the restaurant and when waiting in line it really kept him entertained while we wait, thank you."

After spending 24 hours in the Magic Kingdom in May my DW and I were enjoying some Tonga toast at Kona and the couple behind us gave us their last sitdown meal on their dining plan. We went out that night and had $100 + meal for free at Raglan Road!

We were only there for 3 days and we had few other magical experiences as well (for instance another guest gave us fp's for splash at midnight!), and the funniest part was that we had committed to doing something magical for someone else while we were there. And other than giving OUR table away and giving up bus and monorail seats we weren't able to find a good opportunity do something as magical as we hoped.

Next trip we're hoping to provide extra magic for as many people as possible!

. I've run into many people that speak Japanese or Korean in there park. Typically it is Koreans that need the help since they don't have a map like the Japanese do. So I gave many directions and even ordering help with people last year. They always acted very appreciative and my parents always look a bit In awe!

One time we helped get a kid to a CM to find his family. Sadly we didn't stay long enough to see him get picked up but it still warmed our hearts to help the little ones.
I've given away pins Ive traded to younger kids.
Once had a family with an odd number of three 6-7 year oldchildren who ran into the issue of having one kid ride alone. My father volunteered to ride with them and made sure the kid would be alright. I rode alone that night but seeing the kids glee on the face in the photo my dad bought and the satisfaction of my dads face made that lonely ride worth it.

I once saw a man leave a park ticket at a FastPass machine and he was rather happy when I returned it to him. As for everyone else in the park, they had just watched a suspicious character sprint past them with a ticket in their hand...

Just the other day I scoped out a dad and his daughter from England who were about to wait in the 150 minute stand-by line for Splash Mountain. I had two fastpasses that could be used at any moment, but we couldn't ride, so we gave them to them.

The dad was like, "These are for right now?! We can ride now!" and he and his daughter thanked us and hurried to the fastpass line.

My fiance will play at the hotel arcade the whole time we are staying on Disney property and rack up a bunch of tickets. On our check out day we will go into the arcade use the rest of his arcade card and rack up more tickets....then he will find a kid in the arcade and hand them all the tickets. When we stayed at Pop Century back in 2007 or 2008 he had over 1300 tickets that he just gave to a kid. The mom could not believe he was giving the tickets away, and the little boy was totally stoked :).

We've done a few that have been mentioned like giving away fast passes and turning in cellphones but the thing we do for others the most is traveling first aid. Wether it's that just in the nick of time Tylenol for the mom with a headache, or a well timed band aid for a crying kid it's the least I can do to help out a family's vacation. I firmly believe in being prepared and a well stocked travel first aid kit has never let me down. Once on Tom Sawyers island a little girl had fallen on the floating bridge and the parents were trying their best to calm the daughter down by telling her that they would get her a band aid when they got back across to "land". When I offered one they looked so relieved and a little baffled that I would have one. They just started laughing when I pulled out our mobile ER. The little girl quit crying and hopefully they enjoyed the rest of their day.
I always have a mobile ER too! Never can be too prepared. I helped out a family with a little girl one time who scrape her knee. You just gave me an idea to up the Magical Mobile ER. I'm going to pack Disney bandaids next trip. ;)

We've also given away FP before to families that we thought could use them. Each time the recipients were very grateful and thanked us a lot. We hoped that it made there day a bit more magical. It certainly made us feel good to help someone else a little.

On another note, one time someone else made our DD have a very magical day. So we are in line for the opening of AK standing right in front of a turnstile. As usual, we notice more people line up behind us and don't really think much about it. Most of the time it's families or groups of several people that are together. Except this time there is an older gentleman that's by himself. As we do most of the time while standing in line we strike up a conversation with him. After talking about this and that he says that he comes to Disney by himself...a lot. He just liked to walk around and take in the sites. Once the turnstiles are running, we start our way through and he is walking along with us toward the rope drop. He reaches in his pocket and hands our DD a "Year of a Million dreams" lanyard. He told us that he was happy to give it to her. Very nice. :)

We were making our way from Spaceship Earth to use our fastpasses for Soarin when we stopped for a bathroom break just past the tunnels. My niece came out of the stall holding a lanyard with about twenty of the big pins on it. We were the only ones in the bathroom and there weren't any women outside the bathroom exit. We decided we would turn it in as soon as we got off Soarin (didn't want to lose our fastpass time :)) so I put it in the bottom of our stroller and off we went. After our ride we were walking past the bathrooms on our way to Guest Relations when my mom noticed a girl about 6 years old sitting in the middle of the sidewalk crying her eyes out and a boy about 14 trying to console her. We stopped because my mom thought maybe she tripped and needed help. The boy told us his sister had left her lanyard in the bathroom and someone must have found it and now it was gone. Her eyes were big as saucers when we pulled her lanyard out of the stroller. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that it was returned to the owner and not sitting in some lost and found. (Warm fuzzies. :D)

At the end of our trip in 2011 we had a bunch of snack credits left on our dining plan. So on our way out to the DME we stopped by one of the shops and used them up getting candies for some kids (we got the OK from their parents first of course).

We couldn't find a table at Casey's and this nice Spanish (7 people) family invited my daughter and I to join them. It was great striking up a conversation with them and we got to eat our food hot!!!

We have given away a lot of Fast Passes. Sometimes wer get them before we leave the park and give them to a couple just entering.

Once we let some kids stand in front of us during a parade, and I guess the South American tour group behind us didn't like that gesture because they dumped their soda on us and the family next to us. A Disney cast member gave us new shirts and led us and the other family to a VIP viewing spot for Wishes.
