I've known that Timekeeper was slated to be a meet and greet since last may (heck I submitted it to several sites, but it never published). It was supposed to take effect June 10, but because of all of the commercial filmings, the lobby had to be converted into a greenroom. Buzz is not slated to appear until October though, and this is mainly due to the large number of guest complaints centered around the fact that if he has a ride in MK, why can't they meet him there too.

As for the training area rumor, whoever was poking around there obviously didn't belong there. The Tomorrowland Attractions Trainng Office has been there over 5 years. It's located in a service corridor beside an exit.

And all of the convention chairs are there to provide a break area for all of the extras that Disney brings in for commercials.

But it's every Disney fanatic's duty to poke their noses where they don't belong! We had a discussion about this a while back on the old forms when someone posted pics of the dismantled 2000 sign from Spaceship Earth... there is so much mistique to the back stage area in general that everyone wants to see what they're not supposed to. But they know they are taking a risk, since it's common knowledge that WDW security is second to none!

the one's that take their jobs a little too seriously and then get power trips bug me. I mean, for $6.50/hr you can afford to have a sense of humor.

example.. Last year I went to the CM McDonald's in Downtown Disney for a bite to eat. The sign outside said for CM's on the clock only. I was on the clock and in full costume for a special event (character coordinator for the opening of pooh corner). A security guard stops me backstage and asks to see my ID. I ask why. He said to give it to him, or he'd call the police. I gave it to him, and he repoted me, telling his superiors that I was in an unauthorized area. He did this because I'm statused to MK Entertainment, but working at DTD.

Needless to say, I protested and won, but still..

There is nothing special about backstage if you all really want to see it that bad take the Keys to the Kingdom tour. But most people leave it with a sense of displeasure since it ruins the magic for some. Really there is nothing special about backstage especially the utilidoor in the MK. And trust me if any of you poke around in CM areas and you look like you don't belong there be ready for a escort out
