I have never been to Epic… but I believe he never said which land was more impressive.. he was mostly showing an example if no sightlines… which I agree having no sightlines is more immersive

He literally said GE was "far more immersive & impressive" than anything at Epic. I don't know what you mean by "having no sightlines." Everything has sightlines.

I think you know what mean when I say no sight lines… since you read his earlier post.. which he then gave an examples.. mean sight lines without influence from anything else outside the land from which you are standing… for all the complaints people have about Disney… this is an area they do better then anyone else still… see the aforementioned Galaxies Edge or Pandora

Did I say far more? Maybe that was too far. But I do think it is at least more immersive and impressive on the basis that the sightlines of Galaxy's Edge are nearly perfect and everything is fully themed from top to bottom, while Epic is full of theming "shortcuts" and has a plethora of bad sightlines.

Disney had always been the best at immersive sightlines, but they've been consistently punching down to Universal's level in recent years. Even Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge has bad sightlines. And just like Universal, Disney now regularly offers illusion-breaking backstage views of some of their newer lands before you've even entered the park.

As I have said… I have never been to Epic… but I have been to the other Universal domestic parks… I still see it more of an issue at Universal… They even ruined Harry Potter with VelociCoaster

Of course Disney has some Sightline issues… but they have never been perfect… see the Swan and Dolphin at Epcot… I went toDisneyland for the first time last year after being raised on WDW… I did not noticed bad sight-lines while standing in Galaxies Edge… I did noticed some of the land from Frontierland… but I thought the 2 blended pretty well… even 2 of the newest lands Carsland and the toon land redo felt as if you were immersed in the lands… I still think Disney makes a conscious decision to think about Sight lines

I’d take the bad sight lines in Berk with all it’s energy over the good sight lines in Galaxy’s Edge which lacks energy and feels like it has a bunch of wasted space.
