Haven't heard the Triceratops rumour that would be such an easy win but Disney is gonna Disney. I really think with the new LM show, Villans show, Indy, Frozen, and eventually a BATB replacement, Studios will be in really good shape entertainment-wise.
The Triceratops rumor was... I think it wasn't Henry's rumor but it might've been? I hadn't heard it myself but I remember it being talked about.

A simple flat ride is needed back there - Disney needs to remember that kids visit too. They just lost the cars show (geared for young kids) and of course the honey I shrunk playground that used to be in that area near muppets is long gone.

A muppet themed flat ride would bring in some nice energy to that courtyard and help revive the area.

Took a nice, long break. Tell me, what have I missed on this since the announcement? Any further updates / hints on where this goes? o_O

Despite the footprint being inefficiently utilized, I think TSL is actually sufficiently attraction-dense. What it needs is an elaborate playground since DHS currently lacks that entirely and it could potentially kill two birds with one stone by adding more adjacent theming to Slinky Dog and making more of the land feel explorable. It would probably also be logistically easier to puzzle in than a traditional attraction, and the subject matter is obviously a gold mine for interesting play structures.

Putting the spinner in TSL would allow it to be themed as some sort of toy, and fit nicely.

Putting it Grand Park would break the "downtown Los Angeles" theme that they've slowly built up there over the years (the new Muppets "Grand Arts Theatre" sign, the redesigned Grand Avenue fronts, Baseline Tap House, Ice Cold Hydraulics...). Unless, of all ironies, they "pull a Dino-Rama" and theme it to a festival in downtown Los Angeles... but please no.

We did an armchair Imagineering episode on our show about this topic. My suggestion that I do think is actually viable is a Muppets takeover of Sci Fi Dine-In and the taphouse. It puts the Muppets behind a pay wall, but gives them an in park presence.
I've always wanted a lounge with an animatronic Rowlf playing the piano and singing. Put him in Baseline and I'm sold.

I know this is being discussed in the Little Mermaid thread but it’s obvious it’s super relevant here as well. Did anyone read that delay as they are doing this delay to prepare for Monsters to move in closely by the new Little Mermaid show?

Personally, I’m fine if they don’t even open the Little Mermaid show and in exchange we get a grand Monstropolis land that uses most of that space. How are we feeling about Muppets as well?
