Hi Everyone. This will be the first time we will be attending the MNSSHP in our upcoming trip this September. For those that have gone in the past, could you tell me if they offer any special collectible merchandise during the party or just in general around Halloween time?

Also, does anyone know if the Villians in Vogue store has re-opened at DHS? Thanks much!

We've never been to a MNSSHP, but have been to the Christmas parties, and they do put out special items just for people attending them - so the same goes probably for the Halloween parties.

By the way, we're just a bit north of you.

I was down at WDW in October 2007 and Disney had stuff scattered throughout the property. Two things that caught my eye were two antennae toppers -- a Mickey ghost and a Mickey-shaped trick-or-treat pumpkin.

You might see them in kiosks at the resorts too -- like a the Polynesian near the entrance of the monorail walkway, across the way from the Kona coffee stand.

Well, Disney can help you "choose". There is a different pin released for each MNSSHP date as well as an AP pin. You can purchase pins from past parties as they are available, but cannot purchase from future parties.

The one exception however is if you buy the framed set ($175 I think) you will get all the pins.

And speaking of Halloween pins.....

I was looking to get some generic pins for my niece and nephew to start trading on this upcoming trip (I didn't want to start out with their favorite chracters because then they wouldn't want to trade them away!) Anywho, I bought an assorted lot from E-bay. They came today, and there are 2 Halloween ones - they are dated 2007, and are Donald's nephews, one dressed as a Pilgrim marked 1 of 5, and one dressed as a ghost marked 2 of 5.

Since we are going for Christmas, I would be willing to trade these with someone for a couple of plain pins (one suitable for a boy and one for a girl - gotta keep the count even!)

If anyone's interested, PM me and we can exchange addresses.

They usually offer a pretty cool picture frame, stuffed animal (Mickey Mouse as an undertaker, or Capt. Jack for the last two years) or a MNSSHP T-shirt.

Hey BrerKev, I will be at WDW the same time as you!

As far as the pins and the link that was posted above, it says that each pin is only available on that night of the MNSSHP, but what if there is no pin dated for the night of the party I am going to? Like September 19th is the night I will be at MNSSHP, yet there are no pins listed on that web page as being available that night...anyone know why? Or is that just a mistake?

I will be so sad if I cannot buy a special Halloween pin to remember my trip by.

Last year I think they had a different pin for each night they had the party, if the info on the link is correct it looks like they have a different pin for each week. I'm looking at the pin from last years party we attended, it was a pin with Stitch as a mummy in a coffin, he isn't my favorite but since it was a MNSSHP pin I had to have it. It has Limited Edition of 2000 on the back. The 2006 pin is Mickey in some sort of costume, with Limited Edition of 2000 on it's back. I think DW & DD will love the 10-26 pin since they both love Tink. We're going on the 28th and 31st so I'll make sure we get them as soon as the party starts on the 28th. Looks like they raised the quantity from 2000 to 2500. Maybe someone else knows more, I just hope I can get ours on the 28th.

I wore the 2006 t-shirt to the 2007 party most of the CM's liked the 2006 art much better than the 2007 art (so did we).

The release date is when it is released. These pins will be available for the remainder of every MNSSHP as long as they aren't sold out.

Now, just a heads-up in case most of you do not realize this. The very first MNSSHP this year (Sept. 5th), falls on the first day of the big Pin Celebration event at Epcot. This means that there will be at least 1500 pin collectors and traders in town, and many of them (including me) will be going to that particular MNSSHP. So don't be surprised if many of the pins released on Sept. 5th somehow do not last very long into the rest of MNSSHP.

Thank you to everyone for your feedback. I am really looking forward to seeing which pins and merchandise are available while we are there.

Anyone know if the Villians in Vogue store at DHS is open yet. I thought I heard they were remodeling or something, but wasn't sure how long it was going to be closed for. Perhaps it has reopened already?

This website has a pictorial posting of what merchandise they have for the Halloween festivities. I'm guessing most of these are available throughtout the day though, not just the parties.


And, I thought the Villians & Vogue shop was closed for a while with 3 other shops...until Nov...but my brain's fuzzy on that one.

Edit: I can't post the website's name...it's blocked.
