MNSSHP decorations a little weak

Is it just me or are the Halloween decorations in the park pretty lackluster. I really expect better from Disney than a few banners and some plastic pumpkins. Too understated in my opinion.

Are they up already? They have cut back a little the last few times i have been there and come nowhere close to what they do in Disneyland Paris. Not sure why they skimp on this anymore..and why they don't even make over one ride to fit a holiday theme..or even some of the shows to have a definative holiday version

Yeah, they are a bit underwhelming. First time I visited WDW during Halloween season, I was kind of disappointed; I'd expected a lot more. But Main Street does look pretty neat at night during that time. The jack-o-lanterns in the windows are lit up, and the lighting on the Castle makes it look really sinister. So it's still pretty awesome. :)

Are all the decorations up? I remember a few years ago when I was lucky enough to go in late September the decorations were added to every night....it was a fun game to walk around and see what was added overnight....

Impossible. Disney doesn't cut back on things.

 Of course not...

The decorations are the same as they always are, nothing has been scaled back. We wont know until next week whether or not anything has been scaled back for the halloween partys.

Halloween is not done up in a big way like Christmas.

The park in China, though, looks awesome!!!

From the pics it looks like all the regular decorations are up.

I didn't see any pics of the large pumpkins out by the boat/bus location but those might be on the way.

I wish all the parks were all decked out in Halloween decorations like they are for Christmas. I know there are wreaths and leaves here and there but I mean REALLY decked out ;)

Believe you are correct. Believe they will keep adding overnight until they are finished. Christmas season is the same, it actually takes weeks to finish off that holiday.

This is the typical way MK is decorated. It's for the "fall season" and NOT for MNSSHP. The decoraions and lighting for the party go up each night of the event and are much more than what you see during the day.
