MNSSHP - August

We are going to be in WDW in August 2020
We are thinking of doing the MNSSHP. There will be 3 during our stay - the opening Friday Tuesday Friday (assuming it is the same as this year)
Which one would you go for?
Someone said to take your own bag for sweets or do they provide one. I have found my dress for it just need to sort husband and son out lol they are not how do you say - as excitable as me and it will be an effort to get them dressed but they will do as they are told or else lol

I’d go for the Tuesday party... may be less crowded than a Friday. And you will receive a treat bag at the party, so no need to bring your own.

As mentioned above, everyone gets a free bag but they are rather small (the size is perfect for me as I do not need too much candy), the reason people bring their own is to usually have a bigger place to store all the free candy or sometimes they have a bag that they use for every halloween and want to use for the party as well!

While its likely to take place just as early please don't get your hopes up until dates are announced.

If given a choice I'd pick the second party.

They do give free bags and you can always ask for more but the trouble is they don't hold much and get stuffed super easily.
Like my sister and I only go to a few trick or treat locations and the bag is full and stuff is cfall out and its hard to carry it around.
I'd suggest bringing a regular plastic shopping bag like a walmart bag and also if you're planning to get a lot of candy since multiple people are trick or treating then I would bring a backpack to put all of the bags in. Nothing is worse than walking around for several hours with a bag of candy that you can't put anywhwere.
