MLB owners propose first salary cap since 1994 strike
Major League Baseball owners proposed a hard salary cap to players as part of the next CBA on Thursday, their first firm cap proposal since 1994.

As a Blue Jays fan, it was nice seeing Ernie Clement get a bit of revenge against Andy Pages last night. But, I would rather have seen Ernie throw that ball away for a 2 base error last night if I could trade it for that ball hit in game 7 to hit the wall or the turf to win that ring.
The White Sox are now in first place in the AL Central and 7 games over 500. That may not sound like much but considering we started the season 3 and 19. The fact that we are even close to in the fight for the first time in 6 years, this is something. My hope last year was that we didn't lose 100 games. We did. I think we lost 122 the year before.
