MLB Hits Grand Slam with WS Matchup…..2 of the largest markets, the two Blue Bloods, former Borough rivals, etc…..

Wonder if the Ratings go through the ceiling? Certainly has the potential for all time numbers
ABC News reporting most expensive ticket for Game 1 WS is $46K per ticket , nosebleed upper deck is $1.2K.

still surprised there’s a new Stadium in the works (plan in place before the damage). It is easy to assume they could move (or could have long ago)to another city , but what city? When the Expos filled the D.C. market that contracted the destination list to minuscule…..

Raleigh, while not ideal, might be the best option for an existing MLB Team….far enough away from Atl and D.C, but not sure they could draw to fill enough seats….

One city that could spell success for a future MLB franchise that could fill their place with raucous crowds complete with bongo drums etc would be San Juan Puerto Rico. The island has its nice and not so nice parts but Latino crowds are next level passionate fans.

Based on this article (and a few others I've read), Disney is a real option here (best fit in terms of suites, number of seats, etc., but difficult in scheduling with all the other things that go on there), as well as the Orioles stadium in Sarasota as they don't have a minor league team that uses it. I'd guess they are real hesitant to leave the area for years and then try to come back, cause I'll be VERY surprised if this roof gets fixed. I'd guess insurance won't pay a dime of it.

Worst fanbase in baseball strikes again!

Even though that fan behavior was poor I doubt of it if it happened at Oriole park one would not say that’s the worst fan base etc etc. Some hate the Yankees for a number of reasons - 27 World Championships and hate the Big Apple among other things. One fan base where some fans kill other fans because of sheer hate is between LA and SF.

A one game ban? That's all you're giving these betas? People have been banned for life for less, but 2 dudes getting physical with a player when he's trying to make a play only gets a game?

A good portion of those 27 championships, most people werent even alive for. So yeah, I never understood why those are always thrown in peoples faces. Same goes with the Boston Celtics or the Montreal Canadiens. Cool, those teams won a lot of titles, but they were before my time.

27 titles regardless if one was not alive.
