After 35 games Matt Carpenter was batting .140, but since mid-May he’s been the best hitter in baseball. He’s hit homers in his last 6 games and his last 12 hits are all for extra bases.

With the most 'volatile' hitters, I wonder the extent of the physical grind on a catcher impacting Campy's year to year variation. Has Harper had injuries that have contributed to his performance variation?
That’s part of it but this is his worst season and there’s no indication of anything physically wrong with him.
