Ferry from the MK as it drops you off a very short distance from the Hoop De Doo. A taxi will drop you at the front of the Campgrounds and you would have to take an internal bus from there as it is really a very far walk. Belle

Give yourself about an hour to make the trip. It's isn't a very long trip (just a few minutes), but you may have to wait for the boat. If you arrive early you can look around FW.

We always give ourselves an hour for travel because you just never know what will happen.

I was going to say almost exactly the same thing!!! 45 minutes to one hour should be MORE than enough time. Plus you want to be able to factor in time to pick up the tickets for the show, checking in etc. Also you can pick up your tickets prior to the show at your resort as well. Belle

Belle ... CRO told us that we can't pick up our tickets at the resort because we are going to HDD our first night there, and that we need to pick up tickets 40 minutes prior at FW. Is that true?

We are staying at the YC and we are going to take the monorail from Epcot to MK and then the Ferry. It might take a bit longer over all but the method of transportation is more enjoyable.

Are you planning to walk thru EPCOT to get to the monorail? You will need to use a park admission to do so.

That doesnt make any sense if you are checking in that day. Id say stop by the Concierge or ask the question when you are checking in. I had thought I have done this before. The CRO person is correct though about allowing extra time to pick up the tickets at Ft Wilderness, just in case there is a line etc. Belle
