Pre-Trip Mixtape - A July 2022 Trip

I'm happy and excited to report that the Fractal family, at least parts of it will be going back to Walt Disney World this July!

Like our 2017 trip, this one will be a joint family trip with my sister Marina and yes, Yia-Yia will be joining us and she is counting the days she can ride Flight of Passage again. We are doing it again!

Marina will be with her entire family this time but as for me there will be some subtractions and an addition. My daughter Alex is doing a traveling nurse stint in New Mexico and unfortunately her plans to join us with her girlfriend Emily just didn't work out.
Val has decided to travel to New Mexico instead of Disney to visit Alex so Val will not be with us. My crew will consist of myself, Toni, and Sterg.

Val is absolutely devastated that she is missing this trip...not really but deep, deep down I think there is a small part of her that is bummed. :rolleyes:

I will also miss Alex and Emily who we've gotten to know more. Emily spent a couple days in Disney last year and was immediately hooked. She's very bummed not to be coming along but there's always a next time!

We are planning to Arrive July 15th and depart the 20th. There is a lot of planning yet to do!

Sleeping late? What kind of a Vacation/Disney Dad move is that? I thought we were supposed be the ones yelling at everyone 5 hours before our flights leave "WE'RE RUNNING LATE PEOPLE!!" :D

@fractal jr Funny thing is I've been bugging my daughter for years to join the boards. I even jokingly said @ShookieJones Jr. Is available...
Now I can see into the future and see how this could be used against me...Maybe not such a good idea. With that being said; I love that this is happening to Chris and not me at the moment.....;)

Loving the trip report updates and all the contributions from your kids. Glad to know that I'm not the only parent subjected to the 'candid' shots - my kids always seem to catch me at my best angles. :bored: 😂

I always get a little queezy with the EE backwards drops. Not so with GotG. It's straight back and very smooth. In fact the entire ride is very smooth. The moves are not herky jerky. It's a very unique sensation. I spend most of the ride laughing with joy - vs screaming with joy like other coasters if that makes sense.

Sterg, Toni, Yai-Yai and I are all back home safely after a wonderful trip. Sterg dropped us off at MCO and headed south. Our 10:30 flight to Baltimore was delayed twice and didn't take off until 11:30pm. When all was
said and done I walked in our house at 5:30 am. Today is going rough; Should have had Wally handle the transportation!

I hope to start editing my photos and start a Trip Report in the next week or so. Thanks for all the follows, likes and comments!

Glad you are back safely, but I can't believe your trip is over already! Looking forward to the full report.
