Missing Monkeys at Animal Kingdom

We have visited AK twice within the past couple of weeks and the monkeys we are accustomed to seeing swinging on ropes in Asia have not been out. We've gotten various answers from CM's, such as: it's too hot for them (huh?) and today we were told their living area is being deep cleaned. Sound logical?

Working at Busch Gardens before, a lot of the time around their safari areas, they aren’t really that keen on being out in the Florida sun all day. Kinda why we skipped the safari at AK last time- even wild animals have the sense to stay out of the sun some too. And this big display area with the ropes and whatnot doesn’t have much shade out there, so yeah... they stay in the shade a lot.

Its written in their performers contract that they get time off in May for rest, relaxation and recuperation. I heard they booked a group Disney Adventure. Like all Dis workers, they get a good discount in the price.
