The blog mentions all the projections on the castle so there definitely won't be lights on it this year.

I clicked reload on the site 5 minutes before it opened, and there was a 5-minute virtual queue to get to the page. I got in maybe 20 seconds after it turned 4 am (I'm PST), and the date I wanted was already gone. Oddly, 3 hours later, the same 4 dates that I saw available (as a resort guest) are still available. Seems odd that all those dates sold out to resort guests in 20 seconds and then the 4 I saw are still available 3 hours later. Kinda bummed.

The demand of these parties are amazingly high.
In the old days, you could walk up to guest relations and purchase tickets for same day.
That said, they oversold the parties way back then.
Following in MNSSHP's footsteps, as mentioned above they increased the number of price points for MVMCP from 7 in 2025 to 9 in 2026. The also followed the same script and increased the number of dates at the new and higher price points while keeping the top end price the same.

That sounds like a system issue. Dates have never sold out during the resort guest only phase.
