I'm holding out my delusional hope that the repainting of the castle is the precursor to dreamlights

Is this event worth going to with 5 year old twins 🤔

We would be having a pool day before it
Well, you'll get a $20 (or so) break on the twins' tickets, so I'd say, "Sure!"

Enjoy -- just make sure the kids nap before you get there at 4:00 pm.

It depends on how late your twins generally stay up.

We did this a few years ago with grandkids aged 5, 3, 2 and 18 months and it worked out fine for us.

We did a character breakfast at Topolino’s in the morning. The older kids went to a pool in the afternoon while the younger ones napped.

We entered as soon as we could and stayed probably til around 11. Ate at Cosmic Ray’s (don’t do this) and watched the castle show.

The kids loved the “snow” on Main Street and their ornaments. The rides had very little waits. They especially enjoyed the parade.

Our twins will never nap

Today for example there up at 7am and there don’t sleep until about 10.30pm. I honestly don’t no how they do it 😂

I normally need more sleep than them lol

My older grandkids are the same. Gave up naps around 2 years old.

I think they’re the perfect age to enjoy this!

Halfway to Holidays start tomorrow, Anything new to be excited about????
There is no incentive needed for them to add anything sadly. MVMCP all sells out. Jollywood Nights gets good reviews now. Epcot and Festival of the Holidays are super popular. Summer is the soft season not November/December.

My personal wishlist:
  • Dreamlights
  • New entertainment offerings at MVMCP or Jollywood.
  • New ride overlays in addition to the the same ones (Tron Ares, TSM Christmas, RnR ft Muppets Christmas Carol)
  • Christmas drone show at Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs. It's time and it would be such a relief to the rest of the parks.
  • Epcot to have later closings. I'd take 10 pm, instead of 9:30 pm.
I don't expect any of these but the same stuff we got last year. Entertainment offering maybe is the max we'll get.

And it's hard to think they'll ever bring a drone show back to Disney Springs EVER.

Don't get me wrong, Holidays 2025 were Fantastic!!!! I'm just tired of seeing Castle Dreamlights and WSL's POE Tag shot down every Year!!!

Most Merriest is nice but would love to see a Christmas Spectacular kind of show return to the Castle.

As for Epcot's Closings, Epcot hasn't done 10 pm or Later Outside of Christmas Week ever......

^Forgive me for being a little more Salty...hasn't been a good June......
