Yes. They don’t typically announce it until they are satisfied with MVMCP ticket sales.
Ehhhhh..... kind of but not really? It's like clockwork every year. The day after the last scheduled Very Merry Christmas Party is the day the holiday parade rolls out in the middle of the afternoon during regular park hours. Usually twice.

I just checked disneyworld.com and sure enough it's already scheduled for 12 noon and 3 p.m.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra on Space Mountain hummmmmm If they include the lasers and flames.... I'm all in.

I’ve been wanting TSO to team up with Disney for years! Lol. Well, actually DCAs World of Color has one of their Christmas songs...which happens to be a popular segment lol.

Ohhh. Yeah. That is a bit more up in the air. Last year did they even do celebrate the season during regular park hours or did they keep happily-ever-after due to its popularity? I honestly can't remember. This year do we know what they're going to do?

They kept HEA its first holiday season but showed Holiday Wishes for Christmas week last year. They plan to show the new Christmas show this year, as well, but want to maintain an air of exclusivity for MVMCP to drive ticket sales for now. Presently, no fireworks show appears on the schedule for the 10 pm slot during Christmas week although they are selling dessert parties for it.

The Christmas parties used to be sugar cookie and hot chocolate overload, IMHO diversification has improved the offering.

It is definitely an improvement over just the cookie and hot chocolate especially when it's still 85 degrees out. On the other hand the price has also increased 33% since then..

Don't get your expectations too high -- I didn't see apple slices listed as a MVMCP treat... the photo is from 2014.

Who doesn't like 'free stuff' at these hard-ticket events?? :hilarious:

We haven't been to a party since 2012, my wife told me a few weeks ago that she missed going to them because of all the "free hot chocolate and cookies". I told her, "We can go to Magic Kingdom and I'll buy you some hot chocolate and cookies." She didn't like that response. 🤣

Ah, the perception of "free things", gets the best of us. :hilarious: It's kind of like joining the DVC for just the lounges and Moonlight Magic.

Thank you sir. Much appreciated.

Agreed! I was actually surprised at the diversity of the included snacks. I thought for sure I was reading it wrong and there were going to be prices for these and somewhere else it would just mention the hot chocolate and cookies. But so far it turns out like this is the new hot chocolate and cookies. I approve.
