FIFY is just a joke. Sorry to upset you. Sincerely I am happy you like MNSSHP!

We have been to it several times over the years, just not lately.
Oh I’m not upset. It just makes for better understanding if you use your own words.

Personally, I would prefer they limit Halloween to October, extend the park hours and have the party for everyone. But those days are long gone.

We went to DLR last year to Oogie Boogie Bash and I enjoyed that more than the party at WDW!

Allow me to put on my "Disney rationalization" hat.

The lesser of two evils is to have more parties in my opinion. In the old days when there was less parties they oversold the parties and they were way too crowded in my opinion. More dates, I hope, means less people in each parties.

Glad you enjoyed Oogie Boogie Bash! Last year we went to Jollywood nights, it was very good.

The absolute BEST hard ticket event in my opinion is the Orlando Informer ones at Universal! We went at Christmastime last year and it was the best ever!

Actually I meant no paid parties at all. Just Halloween fun for all guests and keep the parks open late. There was a time before the upcharges, wasn’t there? We never went at that time of year so I was just assuming.

But that ship has sailed. You’re right. If they’re going to sell parties the more the better.

I would love to try Jollywood Nights. Universal maybe when the grandkids get a little older.

ETA: I just looked it up. 1995! The parties have been going longer than I thought.

I personally enjoyed Sweethearts Nite when I did it in 2023.

I really loved the idea of Sweethearts Nite. It's the perfect way for Disney to bring out popular and lesser-known Disney Couples to the park. Bianca and Bernard caught me off guard when they randomly return to Disneyland for that event. Considering Duchess' kittens have been meetable at the parks for years now. A future Sweethearts Night would been the perfect way to introduce walkaround versions of Duchess and Thomas O Malley.

Indeed it would! Plus I had the pleasure of doing Moonlight Magic at Epcot last year in July which was pretty cool.

Interesting! I hope this is more exciting than the pirate band. I wish the pirates would just return to the ride, that was one of the coolest experiences of Not So Scary. Are the bats still a problem?

Everyone here gives Disney grief over starting the Halloween parties in mid-August.

Well, this is today at Walmart...

I get it. Halloween has become more and more popular as a holiday. But can we please not make it a four month season? We don't even go that far for Christmas!
