Day 3 I woke up pretty anxious;I couldn't wait to see how my nephews feet were feeling. We had another busy day planned; MK, AK and Disney Springs for Dinner. I watched him get out of bed and oh boy, they were still pretty tender. He did say that the right foot felt a way better so that was a plus. I asked if he could walk or did he think he needed a wheelchair and he assured me that he could walk and would be OK. We decided to try and find him a better pair of shoes to wear while we were at the park. I know we were limited to Crocs, but at this point those seemed a better option than the current lineup. MK had a 9am opening so we were up and out to catch the bus around 7:30. Holy smokes, the MK bus line was insane. I always learn something new on my Disney trips. While not necessarily a new lesson, it was reaffirmed that no matter how early you think you are it's not early enough. With the social distancing on buses, I knew that we'd probably be on the 8th or 9th bus. It's hard to tell, as it wrapped in a couple places, but it was packed. Bryan was kind of bummed that we had to stand so I told him to pop a squat since we had a while. #MOOD I will say, the bus dispatch was amazing. MK buses came every 2-3 minutes and sometimes 2 would come at the same time. I know the folks waiting for the AK buses were probably annoyed. Before you knew it we were boarding.🙌 I don't know what the bus situation is like at other resorts, but the early morning bus departures at POP were clutch! We pulled up to MK around 8:05 and we headed down Main Street less than 10 minutes later. I love the sight of light crowds in the morning. Our first move of the day was to head over to Seven Dwarves Mine Train. I told the gang to just take their time heading over and that I'd power walk and grab a spot in line. I was kind of surprised where the end of the line was. I always get wary when I start to see the stuff for Storybook Circus and the queue kept going..when I finally entered the line it was a little before the Gaston fountain...YAYo_O My husband decided to hang out closer to the entrance so my nephew could sit until it was time to enter the "indoor" part of the queue; I love when he uses his thinking cap. Resting those dogs... Someone was really excited for his 2nd "real" coaster of the trip. He assured us that he wasn't scared and was ready to rock. To my surprise and delight, the line moved so FAST. The social distancing really makes the line lengths so deceptive. In September, when just the 2 of visited, the end of the line was wrapped around the wooden bridge by the riverboat, it was insane and we just didn't want to relive that. This was from our last family trip; it cracks me up because to this day when he gets spooked he still covers his ears. I will say this time around, he was pretty scared. It's funny how when kids are younger they are oblivious to certain things and only a couple years later things change.
