Hello, I was tossing around the idea of purchasing the memory maker. So I could get everybody in more photos. I had a few questions there are two prices $169 & $199 I could not figure out the differences. Also do you have to pay more money if you want to print the photos? Is it worth the cost?
I would just like to hear from anyone that has used it good or bad. Thanks for reading

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
$169 is if you buy it before your trip, and $199 is if you wait to buy it when you get there.
We (me and DH) started using it last year (never had prior to 2014) and it is worth it just for the ride photos and videos alone. And you don't have to get a CM or stranger to take a picture with all of you in it. :)

No not stupid at all. They have photopass photographers scattered throughout the parks in many spots waiting to take your pictures. You just go up to them and they scan your band or card and take your pics, then they are available for you to look at and download online. With you paying the above price you get the digital copy of all pics and videos taken while you are in WDW. You have to download them within 45 days but then you can do what you want with them once you download them.
Some people end up with hundreds of pictures etc so it is well worth it. :)

We did it. So worth it. Got over 200 photos on the end. And the videos were a nice add on as well. Plus they throw in professional Disney photos. Little tip is not to scan your band at the end of the ride to get the ride photo. It does it automatically, so if u do scan your band to the touch point at the end of the ride, you'll just get the photo again.

Yay! On our honeymoon in 2012 we didn't buy it we bought a few printed shots and paid over $60. We didn't buy it prior to leaving on our trip in 2013 and when we saw over 100 great photos and ride photos half way through the trip we buckled and paid the $200. By the time we downloaded our photos when we got home we had over 400... at least 150 we really great pictures. So for our next trip (leaving in 5 days!) we paid the $169 in advance! Definitely worth the money... especially if you make a scrapbook and treasure your Disney photo memories like me! ;)

Four times for us in the past five years and we'd buy again, probably will this Christmas too. Pay in advance and save! I'll say this, though, we've only purchased it when we knew were going for five or more days, not sure that matters though.

We are going for 7 days. I have a good camera, but I like to be in some of the pic and I am not a pro. o_O

Well worth it if you want copies of your ride photos and stop to take advantage of the PhotoPass photographers in the parks. The deal gets more amazing the more people you have in your group as everyone is entitled to all the photos no matter if your group is 4 or 14. Imagine buying a photo for each of those people in your group separately?!

We purchased it for the first time during our trip last month. We felt it was definitely worth it and will be purchasing it again for our March trip. We ended up with about 325 pictures which we downloaded from the Disney site and saved to a flash drive. I printed 75 pictures yesterday at Rite Aid for only $21-far cheaper than doing it through Disney. The quality is the same as if Disney printed the pics and sent them to you. We made a deal with our daughter (age 12) that if we were paying for the memory maker, she could not complain about stopping to take pictures (she's in that face making stage of early teenage years where everything is a hassle and an inconvenience to her), so if you have kids, I would make the stipulation that they can't complain about stopping for 5 minutes to have a few photos taken. She was happy that we did it, as we came out with some REALLY great shots.

I'd say it's worth it. Last time we went, we got it (back when it was still PhotoPass), and we were happy with the photos we got. It was a great way to get photos with all of us in the frame, since I usually am the one behind the lens. Also, we got TONS of pics from our girls' experience at BBB- that alone was worth it to me!

I am planning to purchase for our upcoming trip in Nov/Dec, this will probably be my last trip with my Mum (she is getting a little old for the travelling, her words not mine!) so lots of photos required, plan to make one of those books online when we return

One Little Spark...
I've never made much use of the roaming PP photographers on site...but the on ride / dining / Meet and Greet photos easily make it a value.

We purchased it for our 8/15 trip and loved it so much that it will be a guarantee for all future trips. The on ride photos, and the PP photographers made it easy.

We downloaded everything as soon as we got home and saved it to a flash drive. Now we can print and use them however we wish
