Well doesn't Disney have some sort of deal with McDonald's? Or they used to.

I was under the impression that McDonalds and Disney are no longer contractual partners-- McDs wanted to be the primary distributor of Disney kids meal toys, however Disney did not want one chain to have exclusive rights any longer. So as of the first of this year when the contract went up, McDonald's employees no longer got discounts.

But they can still get $5.00 off the price of admission to SixFlags with the purchase of a can of Coca-Cola.

Until the trend of hating on unhealthy/transfatty foods goes away, there won't be any partnership. I was told that the seperation is just temporary... McDonalds can't be upset about it, they know its just business.

I think they are still partners currently but Disney opted not to renew it when it expires.

Actually, yes, McDonalds employees get discounts certain times of the year. When you call the reservation center, there is a drop-down of discount types, and McDonalds is one of them. I unfortunately don't have any info other than that, but it is in the system.

as far as the partnership goes, i thought tht they did not renew the contract for the happy meal toys, while they still have a partnership regarding the food in the park
