MARVEL FUTURE REVOLUTION: Free-To-Play Action RPG Set To Launch On Mobile Next Month

Netmarble's free-to-play open-world action RPG MARVEL Future Revolution is set to launch next month. The highly anticipated game — which is Marvel's first ever open world mobile title — will only be available on iOS and Android devices, which is a tad bit disappointing if you're primarily a console gamer because this game looks awesome.
MARVEL Future Revolution takes place after the multi-universal catastrophic event known as the "Convergence." As a result of numerous Earths from across the Multiverse converging, we've wound up with a new "Primary Earth" filled with entirely unique zones to explore. From the high-tech New Stark City to the dangerous Hydra Empire, players will be able to journey across these zones and complete missions as agents of the newly formed "Omega Flight" Super Hero team in a bid to defend "Primary Earth" from a series of threats and the onslaught of Super Villains.
There are currently eight playable Super Heroes in the game: Black Widow, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, and Storm. But through the Convergence, there are numerous variations of these heroes that open up new gameplay options. Presumably, more heroes will be added in the future post-launch.
And, as this is a free-to-play game, you can bet it will be chock full of microtransactions — presumably for all of the alternative cosmetics. According to Netmarbe, each hero will have an extensive collection of iconic costumes from across the Marvel Universe, with more an 400 million costume combinations per hero.
MARVEL Future Revolution also features a completely original storyline featuring a variety of fan-favorite characters from Marvel lore.
