Two years ago at the Osborne Light show also I saw a man proposing to a woman right in the middle of the street, with the music playing it was quite nice.

I proposed in front of the fountain in France. I think the only person who noticed was the photopass photographer. (Best decision ever cause I have pics!!) There were some great shots of people being completely oblivious in the background.

The husband & I saw a proposal at CRT when we were there for dinner in May '08. We were on our anniversary trip & had dinner there. We at a table pretty close to the windows. A few minutes after we were seated a young couple walked in all dressed up fancy. He was wearing a coat & tie and she was wearing a cocktail dress & heels. Anywhoo, they walked past us & were seated by the window a couple tables over. I leaned into the hubby & whispered, "We're gonna see a proposal." We continued thru our meal as did they. When it was desert time I saw a Photopass photographer come into the dining room along with their waiter. The photographer hung back so he was not seen by the girl. Anywhoo, a platter with big silver dome was placed in front of the girl, waitor took the dome off, quickly stepped back, and the guy was on his knee in a flash. The photographer was right there and caught it all. Very sweet. When the girl nodded the entire restaurant burst into cheers, whistles, & applause. Champagne flutes w/a sparkling something in them were put in front of them right away. It was all very sweet. The photographer took a bunch more pics. Then he went away and we all enjoyed Wishes from inside CRT. When Fairy Godmother did her performance she congratulated their engagement along with our 15th anniversary. They were leaving the same time we were so we all ended up congratulating each other. It was a lot of fun....definitely set the tone for our anniversary trip sans the kiddos!

...and that would be one of the reasons why I love WDW....

I think I must be the ultimate Disney sap because I've gone to Youtube a couple times and searched for Disney proposals. I get all emotional and stuff. I know...how pathetic is that????

This is me and my now fiancee on 7.6.09

Those people you see in the back and a crowd of about 20 people behind the photopass lady got to witness me in action.

She was crying tears of joy the whole time so we had to come back 2 hours later when she composed herself to take some nice smiling pictures lol

:sohappy:

I just love when people are able to capture that moment on film! Brings tears to my eyes! We've seen several over our many trips together. Always give me chills!

When my now husband proposed to me during Wishes back in 2004 the woman standing behind us was wiping her eyes and kept telling us how sweet it was to see. I didn't think anyone noticed because of the fireworks going on, but after the show, those who saw around us were congratulating us.

I don't know if I ever caught a marriage proposal there. I may have seen the end of one and missed it. Usually they are done in front of the castle.

I have done some research on youtube and there is lots there.

There will be one happening in November.

We will be there in November and I will be proposing to my partner.

Can't wait...

And I do have a co-worker who will be there on vacation too. They will be taping it for me...

Although we didn't get to see it happen, we rode the monorail with a couple who had just gotten engaged at Victoria and Alberts. The lady so excited and showing off her ring to everyone. We also saw a couple who just got married at Wilderness Lodge and a couple before their wedding at the Grand Floridian.

We had a couple in our group two years ago that he proposed to her infront of the "ice" castle on the opening night of the MVMCP. We weren't with them, as it was just him and her. So sweet!

My DH proposed to me in a nor-easter driving down the NJ Garden State Parkway - while driving!!!!! Real romantic - NOT.

My fiance proposed to me at cinderella's Table may 24,2008. It was during Wishes and of course everyone was in on it. IT was beautiful the matredee even video taped it. I dont know how it could of been better timing. We got there and were seated at a table next to the window. Wishes has just started. He said he had to leave real quick and I got mad cause I didnt want him to miss wishes. So a couple minutes later I get a tap on the shoulder and he is dressed as prince charming, he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. when I said yes and we kissed the finale of wishes started and all you see in the video is us kissing with these blasts of fireworks goin off. It was wonderful. Then we got the toasting flutes. Of course after that I tried to eat my dinner but I had butterflys. So I took the rest of it back to the Dolphin where we were staying and when we walked into our room there was chanpagne and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries from the hotel and on the plate, written in chocolate was Congratualtions!!!

:( Sadly my co-worker had to cancel their trip the day before they left. Two of them got flu like symptoms and were not able to make it. So I guess my plans will change slightly...:(
