marketplace construction

I know alot of people seen this on their recent trips. A big wall next to the fountains at the marketplace. Does anyone know what they are doing. What they are constructing???????

I was told that the old MAIN entrance to the marketplace is being permanently eliminated so more stores can be built. You can no longer enter the marketplace at this point...it is blocked.

The construction can be pretty annoying if you're trying to have a cup of coffee at the Gourmet Pantry.
