Remember, a plea deal is an admission of guilt.

And he's not allowed back on Disney property. So, if he's caught 'urbexing' again... violation of parole.

This looks to be a Nolo Contendere case hence why it will be expunged from the record of there isn’t any other offenses during the time frame. The guy who broke into Disney quest has 3 different charges each in a different county. The charges aren’t on his record since they are all plea nolo contendere cases. Mind you, 2 of the charges are for trespassing. To expand, each charge is a first offense in each county.

To add via a copy and paste: However, by entering a no contest plea, a person is not admitting their guilt but is admitting there are facts the prosecution can prove that would result in a conviction. Specifically, by entering a plea of no contest a person is neither denying their guilt or admitting it. Rather, they are admitting that it is in their best interest to enter the plea.

Yes and no.. It's a settlement, usually with conditions. Here, they managed to get from 5 counts, down to just 1.. the dealing in stolen goods. The state dropped the other 4 counts as Nolle Prosequi -- He didn't have to admit guilt at all in those charges.

That's huge in the sense of he's down to one felony. And even if he violated parole... only that one charge would come back. And if he doesn't violate parole.. the entire thing is going to go away. The case was settled 'WITHHOLD OF ADJUDICATION' - which means basically 'based on completion of requirements..' the judgement will go away completely. We call it "PBJ" in Maryland.. 'probation before judgement'. It's a nice white collar way to conditionally allow convictions to be dismissed if the defendant stays clean.

He keeps his nose clean until the court is off his back.. and he walks away with a clean record. Minus the arrest history, time, and restitution+fees paid.

I don't know if the plea deal will be put onto the efile system once processed... but the new case number is 2019-CF-007062-B-O
