Mainstreet question?

If the park opens at 9am can any guest access mainstreet USA at 8 or 8:30? Or do you need breakfast reservations?

They must be thinking of extra magic hour, that would let you into each land. Everyone can get onto main street between 8am and 9am

They may also be working with old information from before they changed the park-opening show from the train station to the Castle.

We were there last week and were able to enter the Main Street area at 8:00 with no problems. You can't go past the hub area into the "lands" though until park opening time which was 9:00 the three days we were in MK.

Yes. None of the attractions are open, just the shops on Main Street (Disney wants your $). One of the primary reasons for allowing guests into the park before “official” opening is to disperse the guests for safety reasons.

If you have a reservation for Crystal Palace at 8 AM, you’ll have access to Main Street a little earlier. This is provided there isn’t a morning EMH at MK. The shops will not be open, but you can get a good photo of the castle with very few other people in the shot.
