Correct so why would the floats be in trouble?????

As with any piece of equipment, there are certain things that need to be configured for long term storage. None of that really happened whenever everyone was sent home in March of last year. Things were left out in the open to collect dust. Basically it's how WDW treats their parades, but not on purpose.

Edit to add: I think you're reading a little too much into the word rebuild that I used. I definitely didn't mean that they would have to completely re-fabricate the parade from the ground up. More along the lines of swapping out parts, cleaning it up, ordering new costumes ... nothing too drastic (well maybe the costume part).

Oh I don't pretend to be an expert at these things at all... but if they had to rebuild Magic Happens in any serious way, and that meant waiting for parts, equipment and costumes from China, it could be a long ways off.

ON the other hand, they are running Christmas Fantasy this year, and that's one of the most labor intensive parades they have done. It could just be a matter of waiting until after the holidays to transition the cast from ACF into rehearsals for Magic Happens, which would tee them up for a spring break return.

I was more curious/commenting about MSEP, since it seems like they might be playing around with those floats right now. Wondering if there might be a shot at it showing up for a week between Halloween and Christmas season for PR and then back again in January. Just a pipe dream though. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to have them set up MSEP and Soarin' over California "limited" experiences simultaneously next year and I can kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah I don't think it's realistic to think it could show up that quickly without a number of leaks before now, but it's very strange to see them teasing a parade float like that 6 months early. I think it could be a fun commercial to bring this out for a week after they're done running the Frightfully Fun parade, even if it's just a few floats in cavalcades. Then they can give a proper announcement and return date. Just wishful thinking, begging really.

Expect MSEP to start sometime early in 2022. Rehearsals haven’t began, and I don’t believe it’s even been casted yet. Seems like that tiktok was released early to distract from the price raise news the day before.

Regarding Magic Happens, I think the floats are fine since they are brand new but the parade has a LOT of dancers. If they let go the majority of them or they didn't return, then it would be more time consuming to hire and teach/train new dancers.

That’s a feature, not a bug.

The new Disney will just run it with fewer dancers.

Parade will look entirely the same cast wise, with just one missing role. Maybe some choreography and spacing changes due to Covid.

In order to inclusivity initiative, greeting "Ladies and gentlemen" was removed. When the parade returns, i would like to see whether greetings at Dreamlights changed or not. If the greetings is changed, i think is more applicable to used in Disneyland once the parade returns for its 50th anniversary.

In order to inclusivity initiative, greeting "Ladies and gentlemen" was removed. When the parade returns, i would like to see whether greetings at Dreamlights changed or not. If the greetings is changed, i think is more applicable to used in Disneyland once the parade returns for its 50th anniversary.

This is so ing ridiculous. Not even the classic 50 year old parade “ladies and gentlemen” gets a pass? Days like this where I regret that my wife talked me into getting passes again and that I’m still giving Disney my money. I could deal with them not adding that statement to new parades or shows but to edit it out of a 50 year old parade that has gone down Main Street thousands of times to that intro is so obnoxious and extreme. Another absolutely unnecessary move done by that bored inclusivity group that’s putting Disneyland under a high powered microscope and over reacting in every way possible. I wonder how many people this move will help? Who are these 1.5 non binary people/ MSEP fans that were bothered by that old intro but will now sleep better at night knowing it’s not there? How many more thousands of people will it annoy?

If they edited the Disneyland versions intro (which is all but certain) I will not be watching it. I also would somehow how love to get main stream media to grab this story. Maybe I’ll tag Dave Chappelle or something. Something needs to turn this tide of insanity.

Just watch the Dreamlights 2021 Intro. The bigger problem here is why did they change the announcer???? The new one seem off key/just wierd. TDL could have started the OG Announcement with Tokyo Disneyland Proudly Presents, like what MK did for HEA.
