Ive been off the forums for a while. Our last trip to WDW, the confectionary was closed, which I knew. I was there last week and it was opened. I ran in to grab my favorite snack, a Mickey Rice Krispie!!! Only to discover THEY NO LONGER MAKE PLAIN Rice Krispie TREATS!!! They said they they are partnered with Mars and now all the Rice Krispies are made with toppings. I know this is a silly complaint from me but it seems so ridiculous. I can go to any restaurant and find a vegan, gluten free, kosher option, but I can't get a plain Rice Krispie treat? We always looked forward to those treats and would stock up when we left to have a few for friends and at home the first week were were home (its really helped those post Disney blues lol). The chocolate on those just takes like old wax. I tried one with snicker pieces and it was awful. I love snickers but not on a Rice Krispie. Am I the only one that was devastated to see this change? I can't be the only one😅 Honestly of all the changes, this one felt personal lol. Payed parking at resorts? Whatever. Paid genie+? Fine, won't use it. But no plain Rice Krispies? BLASPHEMY!

This is disappointing to find out. Its one of our favorite treats as well. Not everyone likes toppings on their items. My DW especially likes things plain ( snacks and menu items) with nothing added on. Disney shouldnt mess with things that work well. We will have to buy a box of individual Rice Krispie snacks in our grocery and bring them along. It will be cheaper and Disney will lose out.

They had some of the prepackaged ones in the world of disney store in the Orlando airport but those aren't the same and I couldn't help but wonder how old they were.
