MagicBands

Will be heading to Disney for the first time this summer and I’m confused about the MagicBands. We will be spending our first week on the property and our second week off property. Can we use the same MagicBands for both weeks? If so how will that work for making FastPass reservations? I understand by staying on property we can make them 60 days in advance, will we have to wait to make reservations for the second week? Thanks so much in advance for any help/advice you can offer.

The second week staying off property you cannot make those until 30 days out one day at a time. And yes you can use your MB’s the second week for park admission, fast passes, and photo pass etc. Just can’t use them for room entry, charging to room etc on offsite half.

The MagicBand just points back to your MDE account. You can use it as often and as long as you want (with the caveat that the internal battery will run out and some long range functionality will stop working) or use a different band each day.
