So, basically, instead of looking like the beautiful concept art that is on display everywhere

I rode Jungle Cruise today. They must have refurbed the skippers. The one I had was awesome. Went off script a lot and kept all of us laughing the whole way. I recorded it. Will post in the coming weeks after I get home. Can't say I noticed anything different in the ride but all looked good.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
The JC has some show quality issues that delayed opening (!) until 2pm.
I had FP+ for 4:10 on opening day. We were on very quickly, bypassing the 40 minute Stand-By line.

Can anyone tell me what is up with the water being red?!? Inspirational Falls was positively flowing pink, but the water in the river basin against the grey concrete appeared red.

BTW, we ended up going back to MK yesterday (October 2) for a few hours before our flight home, and JC was closed again. Compared to the previous Wednesday, the park felt really busy. 25 minute wait at PoC, up to 40 by the time we got off.

Did it give you the inspiration to make cherry koolaid when you got home?

Sorry if already posted...Micechat article with Jungle Cruise update.

"Lastly, this week the Jungle Cruise reopened after a lengthy refurbishment. I’ll let the photos do the majority of the talking, but it reminded me a whole lot of the recent Splash Mountain refurb. There were effects working that I either didn’t know existed or forgot about because it had been so long. Everything got a nice fresh coat of paint, and I was pretty happy with it."

Thank You so much for the pictures. It just makes me relax and smile of all the good times I have had there. I cannot wait to go back and I am quite sure my wife will be uppset with you for showing me pictures and making me wine at dinner tonight that we are not at WDW yet (LOL).

You're welcome for the link, but not my pictures. Enjoy them...I sure did.
