Notice how much greenery they've had to remove due to the crowd levels, I really miss all the trees

I'm actually surprised at how little things have changed over 20 years. Certainly many attractions have come and gone in that span, but that's not apparent in these images.

Some of the loss of greenery (while unfortunate) makes sense (improved views of fireworks); other not so much (tree in front of HM/loss of bougainvillea at the entrance to Adventureland). I wonder if the cleaning of the trees' debris and droppings from birds were the considerations for the guest areas?
