Magic Kingdom Rides at Night

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations on which rides in MK have a different experience at night than during the day? I can't remember any rides that we rode after dark on our last trip, and would like to ride a few rides after dinner one night.

Big Thunder Mountain is always a cool sight at night! Jungle Cruise can also be a different (and slightly creepy, at least to me) experience.

Bonus: TTA (Tomorrowland comes alive at night) and Dumbo! I will only ride Dumbo at night.

Any outdoor ride will feel much different at night. But I especially like BTM, Splash, TTC, and JC. And while HM is an inside ride, the night time atmosphere of the queue is really different, and adds to the ride IMO.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is the official name. I call it TTA, or sometimes...Blue Ride.

On my last visit I did Big Thunder (seems a lot faster) and Jungle Cruise. Both Cool experiences. Also did dumbo at night, if you have memory maker have them do a long exposure picture in front it it. Looks Awesome!

Awesome! Thank you all for your replies. I went ahead and dropped out Peter Pan FP and picked up a BTMRR FP and are definitely going to be riding Dumbo at night!

Climbing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse after dark gives amazing night time views over MK. Not sure if it would be open during the actual fireworks though.

Astro Orbiter is a favorite night time ride. Being up high and overlooking MK, it gives you a different view of the area lit up at night.

7 Dwarfs for the same reasons as Big Thunder and the other outside rides. Also, if you go close to closing time, the standby line might be slightly shorter (or not!)

Last time I did 7DMT in February with my friend we got on just as the fireworks were starting. It was an amazing spot to see those. I would guess it would be pretty hard to replicate that, though. Kinda just a right place, right time type thing.

YES!!!! This is amazing. If you're at the right spot (and not in anyone's way) then you can see the fireworks from up there!

Co-signing TTA and Dumbo (two that we almost never do *until* nighttime) plus BTMRR, which "feels" like a completely different ride at night - we try to make that our last ride of the night, especially if we can get in line shortly before park closing.

We were riding Splash Mountain while Wishes was in full swing. Fabulous time. And then we got a repeat ride. Double bonus

Thunder & Splash mountain are special at night - for some reason it just adds to the excitement.
And also the Snow White ride & people mover as previously mentioned. Astro orbiter just gave me vertigo with all the bright lights spinning in the dark lol.

If you can manage Thunder during the fireworks it is incredible! One of my favorite Disney experiences

The best in my opinion and seem to be getting a lot of love from others as well are Big Thunder Mountain and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride.

I actually prefer to ride ALL the "mountains" at night! Big Thunder has beautiful nighttime lighting, the 7 Dwarfs queue is wonderfully atmospheric with the flickering lanterns and soundscape, Splash has magnificent views of the castle/fireworks, and I just love doing Space (and all of Tomorrowland, really) when the neon lighting is in full swing!
