Early closure notice - according to posted park hours, Magic Kingdom is set to close at 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The 2026 SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando is scheduled to have a Celebration night at Magic Kingdom - the Celebration night guest artist is Dave Matthews Band:

Magic Kingdom Already Prepping for Dave Matthews Band Concert on May 13​

Concert production gear for the Dave Matthews Band show is already going up at Magic Kingdom, two days ahead of the May 13 performance. Speaker towers, moving spotlights, and temporary truss structures are installed around the hub, with rolling planters hiding some of the equipment - all visible to regular park guests today before the 5:30pm closure.

There is always that one guy who brings up the Chicago incident which was due to the regrettable actions of a bus company that DMB had hired (and since replaced). No one from the band was even on that bus nor did they condone what happened. In fact DMB contributes far more to the enviroment than they take: Dave Matthews Band (DMB) is a pioneering force in music sustainability, having partnered with REVERB for over 20 years to minimize their touring footprint, with 2026 efforts focused on planting 1 million more trees (7 million total) with The Nature Conservancy, carbon-neutral touring, and achieving zero-waste venues. The band was named a UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador in 2019.

This rumor got out of hand quickly. Unfortunate situation for the folks on the boat but boy did that story get warped.

Stefan Wohl was the longtime bus driver for DMB’s Boyd Tinsley. No indication this was an outsourced company.

The liquid waste was brownish yellow in color, and had a foul, offensive odor. The liquid human waste went into passengers' eyes, mouths, hair, and onto clothing and personal belongings, many of which were soaked. Some of the passengers suffered nausea and vomiting as a result of exposure to the human waste.
