Looking for a drink with a view

I normally don't usually make time for something like this but I think I might next time. Can anyone recommend a lounge at Disney that in some way has a view of some kind. Normally I only ever get to The Poly for a Lapu Lapu but I'd like to try something different (in addition to said mentioned Lapu Lapu) I've never been to The California Grille which I've read has a lounge. Any recommendations for something with a view or in some way kind of out of the ordinary? Thanks for the advice.

I enjoyed the view and music(Big Band) recently at Mizner's during a thunder/lightning storm. I also love their pool bar at the GF. It is covered with ceiling fans. I also love sitting at the pool bar at POP Century. Lots of activity to watch as you relax and the evening sun is setting. Where are you staying? I think the bar at the Boardwalk Resort Hotel might have some outdoor seating with a view of the boat traffic, etc. I think sitting at the Barefoot Bar at the Poly pool would be fun with the boats and view of the MK but not sure about construction schedule.
Thanks for asking Now I want to plan a trip with focus on lounges with a view and signature drinks, etc.
Technically the Tequila de Cava does not have a view unless you consider watching the people having lots of fun at the bar a "view"!!!

Thanks for the help. I tend to be a creature of habit as the saying goes, but I want to try something new and you've given me some great sounding suggestions. I'm thinking Mizner's sounds great. I've only ever been to the Grand Floridian once on a stop for lunch and to poke in the gift shop. I think it might be time to go back and spend a half hour or so enjoying a drink at Mizner's.

hmmmmm - lounge at the Grill really does NOT face the MK.... :(. Some of the "Lounge Tables" do. But (personal opinion).... I would suggest Mizner's over at the GF. You might not be looking at the MK - but the view of the GF is great :).
It's true that the bartender faces the view so patrons at the bar face the other way. But they're bar stools, doesn't take much to swivel or move then 180 degrees. Or do the manly stand-and-lean againt the bar, which makes it easy to just turn your head and look all cool doing it.
And as Trotsky wrote, there are a few chairs and coffee tables in the lounge area where you can bring your drink after ordering. In fact, I'm not sure but I believe you can just plant yourself there and a waiter will take your order and bring drinks to you. Or appetizers. Or your meal if you prefer to not get a reservation. But of course, those seats are not necessarily "yours to keep," you can't cal dibs on them and others can sit next to you, so it's not necessarily the way to have a private conversation if you're looking to have one.

The boardwalk is cool. The patron margarita is good.
I second the Belle Vue Lounge @ Boardwalk. Take your drink onto the balcony overlooking the green behind the surrey rental, watch the Friendships dock and depart and all the little people below. :p

The Cabana Bar at the Dolphin doesn't have the greatest view, I guess, since it essentially looks over the lap pool before you get a view of the lake separating the sister hotels, but it's still a relaxing location and vibe. It's definitely one of the best places to relax with a drink on property.

The Victoria Falls Lounge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is on a terrace that overlooks Boma, and the staircase to Boma and Jiko. It's a decent place to people watch, and it you get tired of that you can settle up and take your drink(s) out on the back patio to sit around the campfire and watch the animals on the savanna. The same can be said for the lounge at Sanaa in the Kidani house, although the view from that bar is blocked by a wall. Still, if you plan on taking your beverage with a safari chaser, the Sanaa Lounge is rarely ever crowded. It's much easier to get a drink there than at Victoria Falls to head out on the viewing deck.

Also at the Boardwalk, the outdoor seating at Big River is always a good call, weather permitting, of course. Lots of people walking by and an unobstructed view of the lake and Friendship boats make for a good, quiet spot to take in surroundings after a day of hustling around the parks.

Bar at the GF is a good one to go to to just unwind. Bartenders are nice & friendly as they should be for their job title.
