I have zero problems with this one. The animated is one of the most underrated movies in the Disney library (imo), and has probably the best soundtrack to any film. As long as they keep it true to it's roots and all the great songs intact, I'm in. If they try to throw in too many pointless changes to the plot (Here's looking at you, BatB), then I dunno...We all knew it was only a matter of time...

I could very easily see a "live action" tales of brer rabbit. Or I can also see a reimagining of the story. So never say never.Pretty sure we wont be seeing a live action Song of the South.
If only this happened years ago and we still had the great Christopher Lee with us. He would've been ideal for this iconic role (imo).Oh oh oh, who's the odds on favorite to play Frolo. ..and they better be able to belt out Hellfire...
I hope they tone down the gargoyles A LOT, if not remove altogether. That was my one complaint with the animated, how they went overboard with the silliness.I really hope they don’t try going too “family-friendly” with this one. Hunchback is much darker than most of Disney’s classics, and I don’t know if I could stand two hours of fart-related puns made by CGI gargoyles in a movie theater.
Pretty sure we wont be seeing a live action Song of the South.
It is brilliant, and so overlooked. 'The Bells Of Notre Dame' is either my #1 or #2 favorite musical number in any film. So haunting and magnificent.LOVE the Hunchback soundtrack.
Jeremy Irons could make a great Frollo.I’m really curious to see who they have in mind for the cast! I’m hoping they keep the story original as possible!
I may have sang a Hunchback medley in high school choir, and performed (likely terribly) in Disneyland. It is brilliant, and so overlooked. 'The Bells Of Notre Dame' is either my #1 or #2 favorite musical number in any film. So haunting and magnificent.
The only song I'd be okay with if they scrapped from the remake would be the gargoyles number. Or anything related to the gargoyles. Just keep them as decorations, not characters.
I know I'm not the only one who'll need it: http://www.mentalhealthamerica.net/conditions/coping-loss-bereavement-and-grief
It floors me that they would remake a film that they won't even acknowledge the animated version of. The closest we get is Frollo on the villains B-squad. But I want my merch, dammit.
If done right, this can be amazing.
