Lightning strikes crane at Swan and Dolphin construction site causing crane to catch fire

Yikes... Hope no one was working at the time. We have some radio towers near our house that occasionally get hit. It's good they attract the lightning bolts away from us, but when theres multiple hits in a major storm it can sound like a battle zone.

I was at the boardwalk outside near the pool when that lightening hit and it was pretty crazy loud. I don't remember any smoke, but then again I wasn't really looking.

That was the first sign of lightning, and we were told the storm was about 9 miles away, thus people were still in the pool when the lightening hit, after that initial hit, lightening was few and far in between
