Hearing some very impressive capacity numbers on this. Turns out that Sunset Showcase can hold more people than expected which, coupled with the shorter show structure, should easily give this a higher capacity than some of DHS's rides.

It makes you wonder why it took them so long to put an attraction in this building.

Even though I don't think anyone in my family will be interested, I'm so glad they're putting something in at that end of the park for younger kids. When we had 2 that were too scared to ride RnRC and TOT, there wasn't anything to do with them while we waited for other members of our party to ride those. Now, one adult can take the little kids to see Lightning do a show while the bigger people ride the bigger rides. Win/Win.

I think shows are less of a draw than rides, so the "new stuff alleviating capacity" might apply here more than it would for Avatar, for example.

That's what I was thinking. Plus, with even AS2 having a height restriction, this offers young families something new that they can ALL do together either before or after TSL.
