Lesser Known Treasures of Disney Dining

Over the years, my family has eaten at all of the big name restaurants in WDW, Cali Grill, Ohana, Everything in World Showcase, etc. Dining is a key part of our trip. We enjoy eating out and try to get around to our favorite restaurants. This year we're trying to expand to some of the lesser known , but still good restaurants. Does anyone have a restaurant they love that doesn't get the attention it deserves?

Kona Cafe at the Poly!

I second Kona! (Though I did get sick after eating there this past March... Not sure what that was about.)

On our most recent trip we tried out the Grand Floridian Cafe, for lack of other last-minute reservations. We were very, very pleasantly surprised! The service was good, the food was great, and it was nice to actually spend time at the Grand Floridian. Whenever we do the MK, we like to leave the park for dinner at one of the nearby MK resorts, so now we have one more to add to our list!

It was a secret but I think it's not now..Sanaa at AKL..Had lunch last year and it blew me away.

Mayan Grill @ Coronado Springs Resort...the flavors are wonderful and it is a quiet restaurant...

It's not really an unknown restaurant but Boma is my all time favorite. The best buffet anywhere.

The Cabana Bar at the Dolphin is my favorite lunch spot, and nobody ever talks about it. I also agree with the aforementioned Sanaa and Olivia's Café.

Sanaa, Boma and Kona! I overlooked those restaurants this time around but they are on my to-do list.

Turf Club at SSR definately does not get the mentions as much as it should. Food is always really good with a good variety of food. Easy to get a ressie as well. Crab Cake App is awesome! My pasta I get usually is delicious, and DH usually gets a steak and really enjoys that as well. Deserts are wonderful too! Nice quieter atmosphere as well.

Bluezoo at Dolphin. One of the best meals you will have on property.

I agree with Maya Grill at Coronado and Turf Club at Saratoga being excellent choices.

I love LOVE Grand Floridian Cafe. I think it is a hidden jem!

I agree on the Boatwright's one too! I forgot about that place.
