Legend of Jack Sparrow...what's the buzz?

So....I did a search and came up with a big zero on this one. Has anyone been to The Legend of Jack Sparrow and what are your thoughts? We are looking forward to seeing it but the only post I was able to find on it was vaguely dismal. We were not fans of Prince Caspian and I am wondering if they improved the attraction with Jack or if they just kept it as an air conditioned people eater with little wow factor.

It's not really worth the wait. It's a short show with some cool set pieces and decent technology, but it really isn't much more than a 'sing-a-long' with Captain Jack Sparrow. (It's not really a sing-a-long, but you're told what to do and say along with the Cap.)

I've heard it's not much. I didn't get on it in June because the waits were always an hour for it. Wasn't going to wait that long.

Sorry to say that just like its predecessors it is a total waste of time. If there is a zero queue I would even hesitate. Much better things to be doing with your time at WDW. The Imagineering B-team struck again.

The animation is the only worthwhile part, if there is a small wait do it to see how they project Jack which looks almost real but other than that you can skip.

There might be better things to do in the World but not so much at DHS...in the middle of the desert a man will drink kerosene to quench his thirst.

Once you have done TT, RnR, Star Tours, TGMR and waited incessantly in line for TSMM due to non-available fastpasses and periodic breakdowns there is not a whole lot left to do but spend the college tuition on merchandise or go see the second string attractions like this. I will go and see it at least once to take in the experience I think

The attraction is a huge leap over the Narnia one it replaced. It really does have some cool atmospherics...but just like in the "Belle" attraction in NFL, it collapses when it turns to the stupid lame interactive gimmick TDO just looooooves to death, the idiots. But it's worth experiencing once, especially if you're a Cap'n Jack fan.

Yeah. ANYTHING is better than the "Live Action DVD Commercial" that was Narnia.

To be quite honest, I think Legend of Jack Sparrow would be better suited for DisneyQuest.

It is cute, but nothing I would go out of my way to see. If you have 20-30 minutes to kill before your TSMM FP, it is a good way to do it.

It was MUCH better than the Narnia thing! The special effects were quite well done, the show itself was funny and the A/C was excellent. That being said don't wait on a long line for it.

I liked it.
I didn't wait in line for it and it is definitely not worth waiting more than 5 minutes for.

It had some neat special effects and I was entertained. Being indoors with air conditioning is always a plus for me too.
