Yes, she was an interesting, and apparently rather eccentric, lady in her day. She was 24 when she came over.Betty, I didn't know that! That is really interesting!
How sad the last survivor passed away.

Amy StanleyWhat was her name (if you don't mind saying)? I understand if you do.
Amy Stanley
Doing some research, she wasn't a passenger but worked on the ship. Very cool! Too bad you guys never got to know her, though.
I don't know. I read that she had a third-class ticket.
Either way, she was there. The stories she must have had...
No, she was a third class passenger on her way to CT to be a nursemaid to a family there.Doing some research, she wasn't a passenger but worked on the ship. Very cool! Too bad you guys never got to know her, though.

Have any of you visited the Titanic Exhibition on International Drive ? We went a couple of years ago - not expecting much, but it is really good. Your admission ticket has the name of a real Titanic passenger on it, and at the end you can find out what happened to them. Worth a visit.
That was in Miami for a bit, but soooo expensive. As I recall it was down here in the summer, and I wanted to save our money for WDW.On a sidenote, has anyone ever seen the Titanic traveling exhibition. I saw it when I lived in St. Pete. It was quite moving. My only complaint was the tacky gift shop at the end.
