I bet there is people who are reading this that doesn't know they have golf courses on property....fishing excursions.......horse back riding. 20 years ago there was even more to do. Someone around here says my memory is just playing tricks on me and the resort is better then ever.....Sorry I don't think so.

I guess WOL was just a figment of my imagination ( see what I did there? ) The top notch seasonal/holiday decorations? Really what it boils down to is that the Disney difference is what is being cut. It made WDW the worlds vacation destination, and it still maybe.....just with much less difference.

To a degree? Calling @ParentsOf4 If I remember correctly they have had record quarters! ESPN is still showing a profit, record numbers? No, but still a profit. As I mentioned there are some nice things happening at WDW but at what cost? IMO what it has cost is the little things that made the place so special. I remember going early on and at Christmas at the resorts they would put a stocking filled with little toys, trinkets and candy for every child in your group hanging on your door. Those types of things is what I am talking about. When they said "Welcome home" they made you feel at home. I am not saying I haven't had some nice moments on my visits. But they become less and less as time goes on yet you are paying more and more. There was a time when it didn't matter who you were, what economic/socio background you come from.....we were all treated like royalty at WDW. You still can now.....but with an upcharge!

When I was in MK Ops, I had a friend who was very good friends with Princess Aurora, and she was making just shy of $20/hr.. That was 2007-2008, so I assumed the pay had gone up even more since then. Not true?

Well, they have to pay them that much because I'm too short for most of the roles. Heck, I'd do it for half that, as long as no kid drools or vomits on me. There'd be no issue. I charge by the barf bucket if the drooling or vomiting occurs.
