Just how busy are we talking?

I am thinking about doing a may trip. I am thinking May24th until the 28th 2011. I know it will be super busy. I am expecting it because of Star Wars weekends and Memorial Day on that weekend. But just how busy?! I have never been in may. I am hoping for light crowds at the start of the week and expecting them to get heavier on Friday and saturday...

Your idea sounds about right. Crowds should be lighter earlier in the week, then spike Friday - Monday. Hollywood Studios will definitely be busier with Star Tours reopening and the Star Wars Weekend.

I always go to MK on Memorial Day and have always been surprised the last few years that it is not that crowded this day.

yes I agree stay away from hollywood studios from fri-sun because it gets pretty busy!

We were there last year and were the ONLY ones on the Saratoga Springs buses a few times. Do HS on an off day and you'll be fine. We were very surprised at the low crowd levels. It was in the 90s! Enjoy your trip!
