Just curious- who plans to ride Frozen when it opens?

I'll ride it once and pass judgment on if it is worth a second time or if I just go back and watch maelstrom videos remembering what was.

I'm confused... EPCOT was built without its integrity. It was never the "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" that was originally envisioned, why would anyone care that it's deviated more from its initial drastic deviation?

My thinking is that world showcase is about REAL places and not make believe fluff. There are plenty of other places for that in the four parks but WS seems like the least sensible place to introduce fantasy...just my two cents though. WS is essentially what it set out to be minus the few left out countries and the Fuji coaster. Now if you're talking about EPCOT center then I can see your point.

Because even though EPCOT was not a community like Walt originally envisioned, the park they built was still strong of purpose, and held closely to the ideals that Walt held.

EPCOT will be an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow that will take its cue from the new ideas and new technologies that are now emerging from the creative centers of American Industry. It will be a community of tomorrow that will never be completed, but will always be introducing and testing and demonstrating new materials and systems. And EPCOT will be a showcase to the world for the ingenuity and imagination of American free enterprise.

-Walt Disney

Take out the "community" and the rest of that held true in the park that once was. That is what is purists miss, and why haphazardly stuffing attractions into the park that do not hold the same values is not good enough.

Of course I'll ride it! I will go on anything new at least once at WDW. I do love Frozen, and I did like Maelstrom, so I'm curious to see what exactly will happen. I am looking forward to how the music is done and hoping that it's not a cut-and-paste job from the soundtrack. I like variations and subtle changes in the arrangements.

(That having been said, I still hold steady that Epcot is the worst place for a Frozen attraction; MK is a much more suitable option, but that argument has been done to death here. :) )
