Just booked for September - quick question though

Just booked for my wife, my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son and me to go Sept 12 - 20th. We went last September around the same time and had a great time (other than watching the news a few weeks before and hoping no hurricanes formed). One question though - we dropped the park hopper option (we had it last year but never used it), and added the waterparks and more instead. I just want to know if it's worth getting the waterparks and more added on. Comments from anybody who has been to the waterparks/Disney Quest would be great.

It depends on how long your gonna be at WDW and what your interests are. I have been to Disneyquest and Blizzard Beach and enjoyed both. It really depends on your interests.

If you added the Water Parks + More how many times would you visit them ? Would it be cheaper to purchase a single entry to a water park or would you be there more often ??

I love the waterparks! It does also depend on how long youre staying and what all you want to do.

I park hop like crazy, and go to waterparks so I need all those options!

The WP&M option is $53.25 (incl. tax).

The current single admission price for the water parks and DQ is $42.60.

So if you'd only be visiting a water park or DQ once, it'd be cheaper to buy the single ticket. (You can save a couple more dollars if you purchase that single ticket through an authorized ticket reseller like TicketMania or Undercover Tourist)
But if you plan on going more than once, the WP&M is the better value.

For your length of trip, I think you'll have time to enjoy both WPs and DQ in addition to the parks. Our family likes the Buzz Lightyear blaster cars and the PorC virtural reality games at DQ (sorry - don't remember the exact names - it's been a while since we visited as a family).

Be sure to arrive at the water parks early and stake out some chairs for regrouping. It's good to have a rally point unless you're all planning to stay together 100% of the time.

To answer the question if you should buy the water parks and more option ask yourself the following.

If you will spend at least two days at water parks on your current visit or at least two days at Disneyquest if you don't spend any time at the water parks then the answer would be Yes.

If you will spend only one day at a water park on your current visit and don't plan on going to Disneyquest then the answer would be No.

Personally, since PI is closed, I don't think that it is worth it. If you spend most of the days at the parks, I just don't see how you can get your monies worth out of adding the water parks and more option. I would just buy a single day entry.

 We added the Waterpark option last April when we went, DS was about to turn 11 and he loved it. But we had been to Disney many times before and didn't feel as if we were missing out in the parks. We just got back this month and didn't purchase the option because we had a family of newbies with us. DS really did miss it, so when we go in Sept. we will add it on again!
