Pics on page 19 and 20.

MK
-I do have a pic of what could be the first piece of construction equipment in FL

Space Mountain area
-Skyway demo is complete
-Construction is beginning on the roof.
-Biggest news of all: Space Mountain refurbishment is bigger than what sources here have been saying! It won't be as noticeable to the average guest, but it is accomplishing what many of us wanted from the start and it's BIG (not on-ride audio, but bigger)!!!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
There's a reason it's been taking so long for the refurbishment and why the TTA needed to be closed.

Epcot:
-Fountain railings are mostly complete
-SSE metal cut out added to the railings
-F&W is in full swing - heading there soon
-Soarin' got down to a 25 min wait this week!
-because of F&W and MNSSHP, EMH nights are all mixed up, Epcot's was on Wed weird.
-Near Test Track, there is a monorail beam that has been refurbished. It looks brand new and really sticks out. (I'll have pic later)

DHS:
-American Idol has moved its audition entrance to the left of Sounds Dangerous and is now more noticeable
-Luxo Jr is working and is pretty cool
-Backlot Tour will be going into rehab sometime in the future. The Catastrophe Canyon truck will be getting extra love during this rehab.

More to be added (along with pics) soon!

**** Updates as of 9:45 pm 9/24

-Living Seas will be getting natural lighting in the tanks to supply a needed dose of sunlight and Vitamin D to the fish
-There was one SSE cutout on the fountain railings yesterday, now there are three
-Food and Wine is already very busy

I'm confused and excited by this.

1) not that I know of

2) :lookaroun:zipit::lookaroun
If they did do a complete track replacement, they have no excuse not to put in on-board audio, unless the new track can't hold the weight, which doesn't sound right, as new track would be much stronger than the track used in the 70's.

Just ask yourself, what did you want to see done when the refurbishment was announced?

;);)

I wanted to see the rockets launch through the top of the building,
pop a little parachute, and splash down into Bay Lake, where you are
retrieved by CM's playing Navy Seals.

But maybe that's just me.

Is that what's going to happen?

What would the height restriction be on this new ride?

1) I got this info from things and work completely unrelated to Disney, so no.

2) :lookaroun

3) I dunno, but everything related to this information is already done

I think you got some bad secondhand info. We've already seen pics from inside the mountain and there are no drastic changes.

As I said earlier, the changes won't be noticeable to the average guest.
But to fans like us, they are pretty drastic.

It's also not secondhand info, but directly from someone involved with the work.

So what are the changes because its useless to tell us there is going to be drastic changes but not telling us what they are.
