Well, I guess everyone can stop searching for the Star Wars fireworks now. I'm a *little* disappointed that the Star Wars fireworks aren't happening, but I guess something is better than nothing.

Looks awesome, but wonder why they are canning Star Wars with Rogue One coming out in December. Is this just due to them worrying about losing guests due to no more Osborne Lights during the holiday season?

Disney likes to go "all in" on things once they got them, and I will admit that the "weenie projection shows" are actually one concept I think is great for them to invest in. It's a cool technology.

Looks like the big fireworks pictured are centered over the theater more than the Star Wars fireworks. I know they're just images depicting the show, but are they planning on moving the launch pad for these? Or making some adjustments?

No the launch pad is fixed, so this is just for the art.

The EW article says Santa Claus will be meeting on Sunset Boulevard. That's new, right? Any chance Santa Goofy makes a return at all?

Awesome....maybe the will adjust the SW show to incorporate rogue one during this time..if they are even considering adding in something that isn't a true episode...

They also launch from rooftops (similar to Magic Kingdom) so the fireworks in the art are in the right place, high level round blasts to the right and straight up bursts from the rooftops both sides.

That was actially one of the best parts of the Star Wars spectacular, the use the Hyperion (Frozen) theatre roof and the Brown Derby / Disney Junior roof as well so the fireworks go all round the central courtyard.
