From the Margarita Village Blog, it looks likely that a very 'laid back' tropical themed resort will be headed to Central Florida some time in 2017. A theme that will be very familiar to CityWalk guests and fans of Jimmy Buffet's 'island escapism' music and looks set to feature some really cool tropical water amenities, with fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking and much more.
The new resort is sited on the old 'Splendid China' attraction area over on the 192 near Formosa and will include hotel rooms, vacation homes, condos, and apartments.
