Javascript problems with post and edit functions

been struggling with this for awhile, and trying to understand if there is possibly some local config, or if others have it too..

The problem is frequently the 'post' button for submitting a message does nothing. But if you refresh the page, your draft is there, and you can click the button and things work. I've seen similar problems with clicking edit on a post.

It never seems to be a problem after initial load - making me suspect it's something to do with the state after the auto-saving of drafts in the editor. You can see in the browser the button click does instantiate a js call - but the browser in effect does nothing to submit the post.

I don't have any javascript disablers running on the site.. nor ad blockers. It's chrome on macOS (arm). The problem has persisted over many builds of chrome. (I actually have the problem right now trying to create this thread no less!)

Anyone else?

Yep it a server side issues. We've been flooded with bots (like 8000 at a time), and in trying to block them, it has undesirable effect on real users.

Has it been worse today?
Yes, I've noticed it a lot today, like this post as @flynnibus mentioned I've had to refresh twice just to post it. I thought it was just me, like something with my network, I was trying to debug it myself. Glad to know it wasn't just me, sucks though that its caused by anti-bot measures.
