Glad it was a nice time! I know what you mean about not expecting to have a good time. Ours was great. We were at Epcot all day.

It was! We visited several other resorts (all the monorail ones) and WL had by far the best decorations. 2nd place would go to the GF, for the Gingerbread House. What did Santa bring the kids?

Santa brought Joel some Wall-E toys and a small Cars racetrack, and Abby (going along w/ the Santa thing) got bunny slippers and a pack of 4 CDs: 2 Cheetah Girls, 1 Jonas Bros, and 1 w/ Selena Gomez. Then we got them some other things as well. They had a very good Christmas. :animwink:
I'd love to see the Gingerbread house at the GF again. At this point, we are looking at either next Thanksgiving break, or the following spring break vacation. We still can't book anything yet.

Hello Jen!
How goes your Saturday?
Yesterday felt like Saturday all day to me.
Not sure what today feels like.
At least it doesn't feel like Sunday...I don't like the Sunday feel. :lookaroun

It's going okay - smallish melodrama's between DH and DD at the moment , I'm doing my best to tune it out. I'm just looking at some off property hotels around Disney for something that might suit us better for a more acceptable price. Bookmarking for future reference.

Edit: What's a 'Sunday feel'? For me it's wanting to take an afternoon nap LOL.

We just stayed at the Ramada Inn Gateway in Kissimmee. It was very nice. We booked through Expedia and got a great deal. I just checked current rates and they're much more than what we paid.

See...that afternoon nap feel...I hate that. I'm not a nap person. Can't do it.

I'm looking at Springhill Suites in Marriott Village - I got a quote of $107/night (w/AAA). Living area w/ kitchenette, plus sleeping area. It has two other Marriott hotels in a gated area, plus a central village marketplace/food court deal. We could save a lot of money on meals this way.

I made corn chowder for us to have tomorrow, and I put a few Christmas gifts away. That's about all I accomplished.

Sounds relaxing.

I'm not feeling all the great, though.
Not sure where that's going.
George has a heavy cold...looks like it might be coming my way.
