You're not sounding very maternal.
In fact you sound very much like my daughter, Lauren. She's definitely not having kids at all. It's just not her thing and we support her in that decision. Not everyone is meant to be a parent.
I'm not saying that you're not, Nibbs. I know the time is just not right for you yet.

I'm never having any kids either. I don't think I will be getting married either.:lookaroun

Parenting is not for the faint of heart.....

Oh...I know I'll manage being a parent at some point. I know I'll be ready in the nearer future...but I also know I'm only 25 and I have no hurry to have children. I have realized that at this stage in the game, I'm too selfish for children. Plus, WHF isn't ready yet either. And there are no other children around me either, besides my niece. I'm sure that when my friends all start finally settling down, my opinion on me being ready will change quickly. :)

I do know I want one though at some point b/c I definitely feel that my life wouldn't be complete without one.

(And I will tell you a secret...I was secretly a little disappointed I wasn't pregnant...not enough to change my mind and want to have a baby this second...but enough to know that I'm excited about having one in the future.)

So anyway...Vince is home in Philadelphia!
He actually left the same day we did, but earlier in the day.
Haven't heard from him yet, but hopefully we'll touch base.
EDIT: George did talk to him this morning...I didn't know.

Your parents love you and want what makes you happy.
Besides, it looks like they'll have plenty of opportunities to become grandparents.

Heh, that is true. But it won't be anytime soon, it looks like. My older sister has a boyfriend, but they won't be getting married anytime soon. My next 2 sisters doesn't have a boyfriend. And the others are still young.

All things in good time.
Have you decided where you'd like to live when you move to Florida, Jo?

I did a short run today...in my family room. :lookaroun Also hit a soccer with my head over and over....virtually of course.

I'm loving the Wii Fit the more I use it - despite the fact I'm realizing how pathetically out of shape I am.

Sounds like a fun way to get into shape.

I think so - I'm just going to do short little workouts 2-3 times a day and build up my endurance.
How was your day Dot?

It was a good day.
I spent a good part of it with Judy.
She got a new scrapbooking program for her computer (I picked it out for her husband to give to her) and today I installed it for her and got her started with it. She's lovin' it!

Sounds like fun. One of the projects I want to work on after the kiddos go back to school is to finally sort and store all of our photos. Then maybe next winter - I may start to scrapbook. :lookaroun

Nothing like setting a long-term goal for myself. :p

And I just realized what time it is and my little munchkin is still up . What a twit I am! Have a good night hon!
