Hi Fishy!

OMG! It was so awful this past trip with that.

Like honestly, I got up that morning and felt queasy, but went out to the park anyway, and started feeling a bit better...came back to the hotel to check out, went to DTD with my mom, started feeling queasy again.

Tried to eat some soup, but while I was waiting for the ME bus, I lost it...I'll never look at those Mickey bags the same way again.

Then as I mentioned in the thread, I lost it again after getting off the bus. I wished I hadn't thrown up in a trash can, in front of everybody. :(

The luckily, I was ok for the plane ride. I slept well...but once I got home, I guess I felt comfortable, so I think I threw up like 4 more times that night at least.

For someone who hadn't thrown up in like 10 years...it was unpleasent to say the least.

I can't tell if it was a bug though or food poisoning. I think it was food poisoning, but I did have a brief fever too...guess I'll never know, will I?

That's just it...you won't.
So I never see much point in trying to figure it out.
It happens.

Um...you do know there's another bug of sorts running around the thread, right? :lookaroun

Yeah...I was worried it was that that morning...I was like, OMG, I cannot be pregnant.

Turns out I got my answer a few days later...I'm definitely not. But I was really worried there for a brief time period.

Speaking of PG people, the latest announcement from Dave's niece is that her body is not capable of producing a male offspring.

Happy Story Time:
My neighbor across the hall, Rossella...whom you will all meet in April and whom we love like a daughter...went home to Italy shortly before Thanksgiving. It was to be her first holiday season with her family in 5 years and her first Christmas without her husband Fernando, who stayed here. On Christmas Eve, Fernando stopped in to give us a card from the two of them. Inside, the card said "Merry Christmas to the Grandparents-to-be...think about that for a second...Surprise!" She's pregnant! And she didn't find out till after she got to Italy. She had to tell Fernando over the phone and she won't be back home with him till January 15th! A strange, but very happy, turn of events.

Oh I tell you...I was honestly concerned. I knew there was a teeny tiny possiblity...but you don't know how glad I was to find out I wasn't...b/c if I had to deal with that kind of sickness for 9 months, I don't think I could have made it!

You're not sounding very maternal.
In fact you sound very much like my daughter, Lauren. She's definitely not having kids at all. It's just not her thing and we support her in that decision. Not everyone is meant to be a parent.
I'm not saying that you're not, Nibbs. I know the time is just not right for you yet.
